Meg died in 1975 and was laid to rest beside her husband, Barty, in Butterworth cemetery.
Her gravestone reads:
Marguerite Allen
1885 - 1975
"Satisfied"
Psalm 91:16
The Bible text reads: With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
